APPLICANT’S AGREEMENT: I certify that I have read and will behave in a professional manner and abide by the rules and regulations of the City of Hemet and the Party Planners and hold any of its officers, agents or employees harmless from any damage which may arise in connection with this request. I further agree to reimburse the City of Hemet for any loss or damage to property occasioned by such use (fair wear and tear excepted). Applicant/User agrees to be solely responsible for any and all liability, claims, loss demand, damages, costs and expenses, including attorney’s fee, arising out of or resulting from any injury to persons or damage to property which arise out of its use of City of Hemet’s facilities. Applicant/User agrees to hold the City of Hemet harmless for any items left on the premise by the Applicant. Applicant/User agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the City of Hemet and the Party Planners, its officers, agents, employees and causes of actions, suits and expenses, whether or not any such claim or action is alleged to have been caused in part by the City of Hemet and the Party Planners a party indemnified hereunder. I understand that the City of Hemet and the Party Planners reserves the right to cancel this agreement at any time. I understand that the City of Hemet and the Party Planners have final approval for all booths. Booths must meet the criteria set forth for this event.

          The City of Hemet is going to celebrate Veteran’s Day with a day of Celebration at Gibbel Park. The event will begin at 9:00am with a ceremony at the monument area and then Military Displays, demonstrations, food, train rides, face painting and more, concluding at 3:00 pm.

Your participation will ensure a great day for everyone. Military organizations have first priority on booth space. This is a great opportunity to have a fund raiser for your group. Group exhibitions are encouraged, drill competitions, MHD ceremonies, etc. We are inviting all JROTC units from Hemet’s three high schools. We hope you will take this opportunity to show the community what your programs have to offer our young leaders.

          Remember all park rules apply. No pets, etc. Please take advantage of our preset time on Tuesday, November 10th 1:30 pm till? Bring your canopies, signs and tables to mark your spot. No subletting of any booths. We have a waiting list of vendors for this event who get first preference. No early tear downs permitted!

          Publicity is scheduled to ensure community awareness, making this a must day for the entire family. This event will be held Rain or Shine. Please remember the park is a non smoking area and no pets are allowed. There will be no refunds for bad weather. Don’t miss this chance to make new customers, say hi to your established ones and visit with the members of our community.

          Join us on November 11th 2009 at Gibbel Park from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Check in and set up will be from 5:00 am - 7:00 am. Your application fee guarantees you a 10' x 10' space. (Nobody will be measuring, if you need a little extra room, just move on over!) You bring your own canopies, tables, chairs, display information, etc. Application deadline is November 1st. The Library Celebrates 100 years!!
June 26th

The City of Hemet is making arrangements for a “Once in a Century” big special event in honor of the Library's 100th Birthday. Opening festivities to be held in front of the Hemet Public Library 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
 

                                                     
 Become part of Hemet’s history! There is plenty for everyone to participate in Exhibits, demonstration, vendors, crafts, food and on and on. Fill out the accompanying application and join us. Space is plentiful, but limited at the same time. All booths are subject to approval by Party Planners and the City of Hemet. No subletting of any booths. We have a waiting list of vendors for this event who get first preference. No early tear downs permitted! Set up will begin on Friday afternoon. You will be contacted with the details. Your application fee guarantees you a 10' x 10' space.  You bring your own canopies, tables, chairs, display information, etc.
Application deadline is June 20th. 
 This truly will be a once in a life time event..Plenty of publicity is already taking place, you don’t want to miss this! Lots of fun, activities, entertainment and more!
We have a children’s corner, multiple stages filled with local entertainers. Historic entries are welcomed..we want to build displays that show the history of our town, be creative and help us fill the streets.

Hi Everyone!

          It’s that time of year! Time to be registering for our 4th annual

"Old Fashion Holiday"

at Diamond Valley Visitor Center we will be hosting the Festival of Trees. We have 12 trees available for participation. We are charging $100.00 for each tree. We provide the tree, you decorate it, participate in our contest, and at the end of the "Old Fashion Holiday" you then donate the tree to your favorite charity, non profit or needy family. These trees are a wonderful way to advertise. The trees are decorated on the day after Thanksgiving and should advertise your business.

          The trees will be displayed in the Visitor Center and the Western Center. Voting will take place by the public and prizes will be awarded. The "Old Fashion Holiday" will be held on December 14th from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Valley Wide and the Diamond Valley Marina are also participating in this event. There is no admission and all the activities are free. We will have entertainment, activities, pictures with Santa, games, and vendors.

          This is a fun filled evening for the entire family. Join us for a great time. Please fill out the following information and tell all your friends! Rain or shine we will be having a wonderful time.

          Christmas in the Park will be held in Gibbel Park with the parade ending at Kirby and disbanding at Devonshire on December 4th. We will have live entertainment from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We are planning to have the Children’s Games, and Petting Zoo, Clowns and face painting and many more.

         Plenty of food and lots of vendors. The City of Hemet has requested that we adhere to their policy of "No Driving on the Grass". Please keep this in mind when designing your booth and the amount of product to bring with you. Hand trucks, and carts are great! The parade will start at 10:00 am giving our vendors plenty of selling time. The Parade winners will be announced from the band stand around 1:00 p.m. This has always been a well attended event and we hope to have even larger crowds this year with an expanded Children’s Section complete with entertainment stage. Please don’t be left out.                
Applications are going fast and need to be turned in as soon as possible. Remember this is a shopping event for the majority of the attendees and vendors selling items need to remember that. All booths are subject to final approval by the City of Hemet and the Party Planners. No booths will be allowed to register the day of the event. We want the Park to look as festive as possible. We will be judging the booths for their Decorations.

Ramona by Night Cultural Festival
a City of Hemet Centennial Event

Welcome to this year’s Cultural festival. We will be holding this event at the Diamond Valley Visitor Center and Western Center for Palentology Campus on Searl Parkway. The event will be Friday, April 16, 2010. The time will be 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm. This will kick off the Ramona Pageant Season.

In the past the vendors and their booths have reflected products in keeping with the theme of the festival. We encourage the same participation for this year. Preference will be given to booths best representing our theme. Booth space is very limited and we will be restricting each space to a 10’ x 10’ area. Additional space may be rented if needed. Only one business per booth will be allowed. This will be strictly enforced. Party Planners will coordinate all food booths. This is to avoid any duplication. All booths will be subject to the health department rules and inspection. The event will be held from 5:00 pm -9:00 pm. All vendors need to stay until the end of the event. No early exits will be allowed. This event is Rain or Shine and may be moved indoors for rainy weather. No refunds for rain will be given. No early tear down or personal pets will be allowed.

We are working hard to promote this event to insure it’s success. We will have live entertainment from the Ramona Pageant as well as local artists. Artisan exhibits that will include wool spinning, Indian Flute. New this year will be our Antique Bicycle Show. Our best source of advertising is our own. This will guarantee proper public awareness. We will be emailing a copy of our flyer. Please make copies and hand it out to everyone you see! Vendors will be allowed to preset on Friday, April 16th from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
